June 15 ~Wooden & Classic Boat Show- 9am - 5pm
Hosted at the Paper District Marina by the Maritime Museum, and sponsored in part by Lyman Boat owners Association (LBOA).
June 24 to 28~Pioneer Living/History Camp for Kids - 9am - 12pm
Learn about everyday living in the mid 1800s. Churn butter, play 19th centruy games, and live like its 1859!
July 15 to 19 ~Sandusky Bay Science Camp- 9am - 11pm
Learn about all things nature during programs held at the Maritime Museum, Sandusky bay pavilion and accompanying field trips. Reservations are required.
July 17 ~ Passport to Fishing- 9am - 11am
Youth in grades K-12 can enjoy this fun and educational program designed to teach skills needed to dive into the wonderful world of fishing. it's fun, easy and each participant receives a free rod and reel when they complete the two hour course. Co-Hosted by Erie Metroparks
August 3 ~ Little Skippers Seafaring Fun Day- 10am-4pm
Kids Crafts & Activities during Museum hours. Participate in sea-related, kid-approved rafts & activities.
August 10 ~ Toast of Ohio Wine Festival- 11am-8pm
Festival featuring Ohio wines at the Sandusky Bay Pavilion. Hosted by the Maritime Museum and the Merry-Go-Round Museum.
August 16 & 17 ~Big Splash Raffle- 16th, 6pm - 9pm. 17th, 12pm - 5pm
70 prizes with a value of over $250,000. $100.00 per ticket. Hosted at the Sandusky Bay Pavilion. Go to www.bigsplashraffle.com for more details.
October 19 ~Boo at the Bay & Pirate Day- 12pm - 4pm
Participate in pirate and Halloween related activities. Held at the Maritime Museum and the Sandusky Bay Pavilion.
November 22 to December 31~Northern Lights & Winter Brights- 5pm - 10pm
A holiday light display will be lit nightly outside the Sandusky Bay Pavilion & Maritime Museum. The Museum will also be fully 'deck-ed' out inside as well and open regular hours.
December 14 ~Nautical Christmas Workshop- 11am - 2pm
Build a Christmas Tree Ship, and make a variety of nautical-themed ornaments. Decoration ideas for kids and adults.
February 1 & 2~Artic Ice Festival - 10am - 4pm
Ice sculpture display, amateur ice carving competition, soup cook-off, ice boat races, children's activities, ice fishing and ice rescue demonstrations. (Weather permitting).
