You are invited to become a member of the Sandusky Area Maritime Association, Inc., and share in the exciting challenge of preserving our local maritime heritage. The association was formed in 1990 to establish a permanent archive for, to preserve, and promote area maritime heritage.
As a member, you will receive the "Messenger", our quarterly newsletter, featuring articles by area authors and historians such as Gordon Wendt. You will have free admission to the museum and also receive a discount on items from the museum gift shop.
Membership is offered at several levels:
Voting rights are granted to members at the individual level and above. Each level includes listing in the newsletter. Life members will be listed on a plaque at the museum.
Dues are considered a tax deductible gift as defined by IRS rules.
Volunteers at the Maritime Museum of Sandusky assist the staff with the daily operation of the Museum, including staffing the admissions desk, conducting group tours, assisting with the preservation of archival materials and providing support at special events.
