Embark on a thrilling educational adventure at the Maritime Museum of Sandusky’s STEAM into Summer! Camp Series for youth grades 3-6. Join us for themed Mondays, offering both morning and afternoon sessions, register for as many or as few sessions as you’d like. Experience the wonders of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) as we explore the Great Lakes, maritime communication, boat engineering, local art, and navigation.
Science Day: Discover the wonders of the Great Lakes’ natural sciences and ecology. Explore relevant museum exhibits, learn about Lake Erie’s unique features, and delve into its geology and biology. Engage in hands-on “Wetlands in a Pan” experiments to understand their role in maintaining the lake’s health.
