Maritime Lecture Series: Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
April 22 @ 9:00 am - 10:00 pm$3 – $8
Microplastics and “forever chemicals” are two of the greatest health risks facing residents in the Lake Erie watershed. Lake Erie Foundation board member Peter Huston will talk about this growing crisis and lay out a road map for change. Along the way he will explain how plastics became such a huge part of daily life and are now getting into our food and drinking water. These dangerous plastics are still unregulated in Ohio. Join us for coffee & donuts in person, included with Museum admission or watch at home online for a discounted rate (free for members). Preregistration required only for online attendees.
